A focus on the 'Fatal Five'

Well done to Avon and Somerset Constabulary for raising awareness of the consequences of careless and dangerous driving. 

The one minute video highlights the ‘Fatal Five’ – most common causes of fatal road traffic collisions: drink and drug driving, speeding, distracted driving (including use of a mobile device at the wheel), not wearing a seatbelt, and careless driving.

We regularly deal with the aftermath of these devastating and preventable events, helping to support and rebuild the shattered lives of the bereaved and severely injured by road crashes. 

We hope that by raising awareness, attitudes to driving will change for the better to make our roads safer for everyone.
