Housebuilders contributed more than £50 billion to local economies across England and Wales in 2023-2024

Housebuilder has released an interesting article on the vital role that housebuilding has to our economy. 

How many industries can say they play a vital role in place making and creating communities as well supporting the growth and prosperity of the UK.  Perhaps some recognition of this is a good thing for all.
